Unit #1 Speed and Acceleration List of Activities and Assignments
Welcome to Honors Physics. The following is a tentative calendar of assignments, laboratories, and
tests. Please realize that there may be some activities added or deleted due to the needs of the class.
The homework listed is given with answers and is posted on-line on my website at
http://www.chatphys.wordpress.com
A grouping of homework assignments will be due approximately once a week. See my website and
announcements in class for the exact due dates. Homework will be graded by you according to the
following scale.
3 = problem completed on your own, with work and answer completely shown.
2= problem completed with help from the website, with work and answer completely shown
1= incomplete problem or no work shown
0= problem not complete

Concept 11- Test Review
A handout will be given a week before the test with problems that practice similar skills as on the
exam. This is solely for your preparation, it will not be collected or graded.
Concept 12- Test
The test is drawn from AP Physics B problems and New York Regent Exams. The format will be
20 questions multiple choice and three short answer. Some tests will be taken over two days.
Concept 13- Test Corrections
You will have an opportunity to “go over” your test and correct it. This is an assignment that is
added to the test grade.
