Abrahamson Campaign Unveils First Television Ad
”Rise” Highlights Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson’s broad base of support
MADISON–Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson’s re-election campaign announced the release of its first
television ad today. The ad highlights Chief Justice Abrahamson’s broad-base of support from every
corner of Wisconsin.
In the first ad, entitled “Rise,” a broad range of supporters stand up and testify why Chief Justice
Abrahamson is the right choice for Wisconsin.
Chief Justice Abrahamson has spent her tenure as Chief Justice standing up for law enforcement, making
Wisconsin a safe place to live and work, and ensuring that everyone who comes before the court has
access to a fair and impartial judicial system. She has traveled to every corner of the state to meet with
district attorneys, law enforcement officers, elected officials and Wisconsin families to understand the
challenges they face every day.
“These testimonials underscore Chief Justice Abrahamson’s commitment to standing up for Wisconsin,”
campaign manager Heather Colburn said. “Chief Justice Abrahamson has fought hard to ensure that the
court system makes the lives of Wisconsinites better – and that’s why so many people are using their

Chief Justice Abrahamson has already been endorsed by 40 District Attorneys, 144 police chiefs, current
and retired sheriffs, and the Milwaukee County Deputy Sheriffs' Association. Endorsements by law
enforcement officers, public officials, business and labor leaders, Democrats, Republicans and
Independents demonstrate her broad base of support across the state of Wisconsin.
