Course Objectives
• To understand the local aquatic systems in order
to preserve these systems for future generations
• To use current technology to gather meaningful
data to share with peers and the local community
• To conduct research and communicate scientific
finding through writing
• To practice perseverance and work hard for
preparation of life after high school

• SMART Lunch
– Begins 3rd week school, Sept 9
– Tutorials (days TBA) & Stay Put (> 80%)
– I will eat lunch with you if you need.
• Tutorials:
– Wednesday Mornings: 7-7:20
– Thursday Afternoons: 2:30-3:30

harvest, grow, and restore salt marsh habitat
• Must be passing ALL classes (check 1 week

• Will not return to campus until 2:00pm

Late Work
• Homework due in

Excused Absences
• Students absent will be given the number of
days they were absent to complete the
missing assignments.
• After that time frame, the late work policy
applies.
• Tests, quizzes, & labs must be made up within
5 days. (Can make up during SMART lunch)
