Whitman’s “America” and “Pioneers!
O Pioneers!” as well as an article
from Slate magazine
View the Levi’s commercials again
and analyze the choice of images in
the commercial (use the hyperlinks
at the top of the article)
Your analysis should be compared to
the language in the poems
The article has the links to the
commercials that we watched
You must also discuss whether you
think that these commercials are
true to Whitman’s message
Your response should be 1-2 typed
