Quadrilateral Project
3rd nine-weeks 2014-2015
You will complete a quadrilateral project. It will be a booklet and must contain the following:
1. Title page: include a title, your name, and your class period.
2. page 2: quadrilateral: the definition with a sketch, rules about the angles, a sample problem (question, work, and
answer), and a picture of a real-life example of a generic quadrilateral
3. page 3: parallelogram: the definition with a sketch with all appropriate markings, rules about the sides, rules about
the angles, rules about the diagonals, a sample problem (question, work, and answer), and a picture of a real-life
example of a parallelogram.
4. page 4: rectangle: the definition with a sketch with all appropriate markings, rules about the sides, rules about the
angles, rules about the diagonals, a sample problem (question, work, and answer), and a picture of a real-life example of
a rectangle.
5. page 5: rhombus: the definition with a sketch with all appropriate markings, rules about the sides, rules about the
angles, rules about the diagonals, a sample problem (question, work, and answer), and a picture of a real-life example of
a rhombus.
6. page 6: square: the definition with a sketch with all appropriate markings, rules about the sides, rules about the
angles, rules about the diagonals, a sample problem (question, work, and answer), and a picture of a real-life example of
a square.

10. page 10: A. a description of one type of problem you found easy in this chapter and
B. a description of one type of problem you found difficult in this chapter
The project may be typed or hand-written. Make sure I can read it. You may write on the back of the page.
This project is due Friday, 2/6/15. It counts as a test grade
worth 50 points. You can turn it in early!
If you made an A or a B on 6.2-6.6 test you are exempt from this project but you may do it if you would
like to improve your grade.
