Talk about Logistics:
How it works (10 - 15 min)
 MS stands for Membership Selection
 IMSP stands for International Membership Selection
 This is how AOII as an organization chooses new members
 Given to us by headquarters
 We do this process so that every member of our chapter is involved and has a
say into who we bring into our organization
 Make the best decisions we can as a group
 Pref is the closest PNM’s will be to our ritual so who we invite back is very
important
 For new members – MS occurs after second rounds before preference rounds
 In the suite
 We come together to pick our list and flex list for the next round (explain
carry figure, flex list)
 Women are put in order based on their scores
 We figure out as a chapter who we want to be on our lists
 Carry Figure is the number given by PHC based on our past and our
recruitment in the past, it is the number we are allowed to invite back to our
next round. This number is calculated by a statistic specialist
 Flex List allows for unexpected changes in chapter performance compared to
previous years
 Flex Plus List – add ons
 Flex Minus List – take away, girls we wanted but could live without
 Vote to pass list as a whole – a lot of times we don’t want to do that
 Then we have to go through and talk about each girl
 Pulling women for negative discussion
 Pro Con those women
 PMRC meeting

 It is important to keep ritual in mind because we are choosing the future of
AOII

Ritual Activity (30 min)
 Pick out parts of ritual and have sisters write examples of how they have
seen sisters show different parts of ritual on the back
 Write a sentence then pass

After every sister has had a chance to write on each, have sisters read good
examples to everyone
Activity Wrap Up
 Looking for direct examples of the important parts of ritual in our sisters
 How do we look for these direct examples in what PNM’s are talking about in
order to see if they are AOII
 Instead of saying, “I see ritual in her,” giving examples of exactly what you
see in her just like in the activity
 How do we show our ritual to every PNM that comes through our door
during recruitment
 We need to treat every single women the same no matter if you see her in
our chapter or she would be a better fit somewhere else
 Ritual needs to be a constant theme throughout our recruitment, throughout
every round and every practice
