How do you pronounce
the –ed?
There are 3 rules for the pronunciation of the –ed:

When the final sound of the base form is voiced
(vibration), the –ed is pronounced <d>.

When the final sound of the base form is unvoiced (no
vibration), the –ed is pronounced <t>.

When the final sound of the base form ends in <t> or <d>,
the –ed is pronounced <id>. Also, add one syllable to the –
ed.
