Experience in dealing with complex business analysis activities and tasks, with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability, preferably in a public sector and/or law enforcement context. Role Purpose To methodically investigate, analyse, gather and review existing and new business processes and business requirements to meet client/stakeholder objectives. Role Overview As a Business Analyst, you will: Gather, analyse, evaluate and document business requirements from a variety of sources in accordance with CrimTrac's governance framework. Develop and deliver high quality documentation which may include business process models, business cases, business requirements and process design documentation for new and existing CrimTrac systems. Analyse current business systems and software products to determine approaches that will improve performance and integrity of the interface between system users, the operating system and applications software. Be able to explore all possibilities and design alternatives to address problems and identify solutions. Facilitate analysis and requirements workshops to enable the development of innovative solutions to complex business issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure CrimTrac and police agency project activities and milestones are achieved. Work collaboratively as a key partner with project delivery managers, project managers, system developers and CrimTrac partners. Ensure that documentation adheres to CrimTrac's project management methodology and quality standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of CrimTrac's project governance framework, system development lifecycle framework and Business Analysis Centre of Excellence. Use well-developed written and oral communication skills to develop briefings for senior internal and external stakeholders. Represent your work area at all relevant meetings and forums as required. Have a proven ability to show initiative and deliver quality outcomes.
