It starts out as a tiny seedling when a person says, “Time for a newsong.” Then, just as a plant does, it starts to grow, branching off and creating more and more ideas to follow through until it becomes a big, toweringtree, a thousand feet high. Music pours out of it, and everyone is enchanted by the melodious sound. It takes in the empty hearts of poor souls and fill them, brimming overthe top, full of love and happiness. But it does not die like a plant does. However much it may wilt, it never dies. Instead, it goes to Heaven, To play for the Lord until He says, “Play for the people.” It starts again down on Earth, When a person says, “Time for a new song.” Lifetime by Kaylee Dean Music is like a lifetime it is born and raised. Some things go perfect, others not so well. It is unheard of, yet known all over. It turns older, strong and healthy but yet is still young And goes through good times and bad. It ages like the rest of us until it's times comes And it must go away for a while but it will always come back to be reborn And repeat the cycle until the end of time. by Talia Rivera Singing is a blessing to hear when ur resting Music is a voice with any genre choice And when ur singing, ur believing. by Madison Carter If you listen to the breeze, you'll hear whispering willows singing a song. They sing sad songs of the lost willows. They can't be healed by a little song. They have scars of voices crying out for help. Listen to the breeze. You will hear the whispering willows telling a song to you and me. Little Voices by Maddison Carter Do you ever think about those little voices that you think make you crazy? They're singing to you about your life. Capturing past and future moments. They tell you your life in song though it's very long. You won't understand their stories because your song is always ready to begin. You have to decide when these little voices start letting you hear their songs of life. by Shivanie Samoog Music is a sound Music is all around Music bring us together So we can vocalize forever Music makes us stomp with our feet Clap tot he beat Then compose it on a sheet Music is a style Music is a fashion And we bring it all together with compassion. by Krystal Music can be sad Music can be happy Music can make memories Music can have moments When you want to cry Also when you're playing it Makes you feel alive Music is a light inside your soul. by Brianna Corson Choir is the house of protection We will run to Mrs. Owens for her love. Today is a Brighter Day by Cassandra Kincaid I can see everyone's smiling, OUtside I see a rainbow That leads to a pot of gold And I can see more clearly than ever before. Yesterday I was dwelling on every thing I did wrong. But today, I'm just smiling, 'cause today is a brighter day. Don't be sad anymore. Don't be dwelling on the past, 'cause today the sun is out and the rainbow is filling the sky And birds are singing a joyful song For today is a brighter day! you ever been so silent you can hear a tune? stal Gutierrez ringing in your head or maybe your favorite song's melody? you hear the birs chirpping to the beat or the car horns? Have you ever wondered why it's there? Have you ever thought it might be the world's smallest violin or maybe the angels are singing in your head? But it's music you sing to every day. This is a part of life, a part of our world. Mother Nature in all it’s beauty would grow plain with the absence of song. What would the song birds do with their delicate songs fluttering about in their tiny hearts? How would the wolf mourn his prey, notes of sadness thrown up to the moon? What would the seas do if the whale's calls left the water? How would the trees groan about their aching limbs? How would the leaves rejoice the gust of wind? How would the laughing creeks tease the river pebbles? How would the peltering rain announce its arrival? What would we do without music? How mundane celebrations would be. How much heavier would grief way on our hearts if there were no songs of comfort. How difficult it would become to express our pain, hate, anger, sadness, joy, hope, peace, faith and love. Music is a part of everything. It runs through the very fabric of life and gives it that extra, indescribable flavor. Music will never, nor can ever, be taken away. Without it, everything is incomplete. 7th-8th Grade Choir Students: Fiesta Texas GREAT FUN at Fiesta Texas Music Across Texas Tobi Camp holding our Superior Trophy!
