PowerPoint This PowerPoint presentation should have a title page. The title page should consist of the following: Title of book Author of book Your name At least two pictures representing any scene from the book Animations don’t have to be used be used on the title page The presentation can be in first person or third person. In other words, you can decide if you want to pretend to be the main character or not. Whatever you choose, make sure you are consistent throughout the report. PowerPoint The format of the book report will follow the plot mountain. The plot mountain consists of the following: Exposition Rising action Climax Falling action Resolution EACH OF THESE SLIDES MUST HAVE ANIMATION PowerPoint Exposition—the setting and the opening scenes of the book Rising action—the exciting elements that lead up to the climax of the book Climax—the most exciting part of the book Falling action—all of the “loose ends” of the book are tied up Resolution—the ending PowerPoint The slides must each have a minimum of 7 sentences. The sentences can be in paragraph form or you can create bullet points. Remember, we know what would be accepted as 8 th grade sentences and what would not be acceptable. PowerPoint You will turn in the presentation on a flash drive on the due date. You will receive the flash drive back within a week. Half of the credit ON THE ENTIRE BOOK REPORT is gone if it’s turned in late. Ask questions often and early. Only work on the PowerPoint if you have guaranteed computer and Internet access.
