NEPQR Graduate Assistant
Job Description:
This opening is for the Spring/Summer semester only.
• Offer support for the project director & the Midwest Interprofessional Practice, Education, and
Research Center (MIPERC)
• To conduct literature reviews on interprofessional education and practice
• Aid with the successful completion of project deliverables
• To conduct literature reviews on health-related topics, abstract articles, and compile information into
summary documents
• Assist with study related publications
• Assist with the annual Midwest Interprofessional Practice, Education, and Research Center (MIPERC)
conference, analyzing evaluation data and writing a summary document of findings
• Assist with obtaining resources for the development of foundational interprofessional education
materials for students, clinical preceptor faculty and academic faculty
• Facilitating research and assessment design, data collection, and analysis of health related outcome
measures
• Retrieval of data from encrypted flash drives and entering of data into SPSS data base
• Data extraction from E360 learning management system and entering data into SPSS data base
• Data extraction from electronic abstraction forms and entering data into SPSS data base
• Survey development/administration, preparation of preliminary results with evaluation specialist
• Maintaining HIPAA and PHI of study participants
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student in a graduate program at GVSU for a minimum of nine
credit hours per semester
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills
• Knowledge of computer applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Proficient in database searches
• Experience in design and administration of surveys, prefer statistical analysis experience
• The ability to organize work time and manage projects
• Obtain CITI training for GVSU, Michigan Department of Community Health, Wayne State University
IRBs.
