
The diameter of the coins should be at least 64mm and not exceed 512mm.
Given a coin, the diameter of the next larger coin is at least 50% greater.
The diameter of the coin must always be an integer.
You are asked to design a set of coins of different diameters with these requirements and your goal
is to design as many coins as possible. How many coins can you design?

The pacelength P is the distance between the rear of two consecutive footprints. For men, the
formula, n/P = 144 gives an approximate relationship between n and P where, n = number of steps
per minute and P = pacelength in meters. Bernard knows his pacelength is 164cm. The formula
applies to Bernard's walking. Calculate Bernard's walking speed in kmph.

Before going to the TCS Aptitude test please write the mock tests which are provided by the
TCS it gives boost to you.
For the Aptitude prepare the R.S. Aggarwal & Freshersworld.com TCS model papers.
For Technical round be aware of basic funds of your core subjects and C, C++.
If you crack the both aptitude & Technical round you are 75% selected.
In MR they give any context situation how can you resolve it and also little much knowledge
about current affairs thats enough.
In HR prepare the interview Questions.
Be confident in all the rounds. Don't be tenz the HRs are very cool & friendly.
Aptitude test:(35 Questions, 80 mins, online test)
Q1. Given a collection of points P in the plane, a 1-set is a point in P that can be separated
from the rest by a line, .i.e the point lies on one side of the line while the others lie on the
other side.
The number of 1-sets of P is denoted by n1(P). The minimum value of n1(P) over all
configurations P of 5 points in the plane in general position(i.e no three points in P lie on a
line) is
a)3 b)5
Ans: 5
c) 2
d)1
Q2. The citizens of planet nigiet are 8 fingered and have thus developed their decimal
system in base 8.
A certain street in nigiet contains 1000 (in base 8) buildings numbered 1 to 1000.
How many 3s are used in numbering these buildings?
a) 54 b) 64 c) 265 d) 192
Ans: 192
1’s place – 8*8-64
10’s place- 8*8-64
100’s place- 64 --total 192
Sometimes base value is chang like: 9finger, 1 to 100(base 9)
Q3. Given 3 lines in the plane such that the points of intersection form a triangle with sides
of length 20, 20 and 30, the number of points equidistant from all the 3 lines is
a)1 b)3 c)4 d)0
Incenter-1 excener-3 total --4
Q4. Hare in the other. The hare starts after the tortoise has covered 1/5 of its distance and
that too leisurely3. A hare and a tortoise have a race along a circle of 100 yards diameter.
The tortoise goes in one direction and the. The hare and tortoise meet when the hare has
covered only 1/8 of the distance. By what factor should the hare increase its speed so as to
tie the race?
a) 37.80 b)8 c) 40 d) 5
Ans: 37.80
We preceed as follows:
After tortoise covers 1/5th distance hare starts the race
When hare covers 1/8th of distance tortoise meets hare
So distance covered by tortoise = 1-(1/5 + 1/8)
= 27/40
Time taken by both is same
time = dist/speed
So (dist/ speed) of tortoise = (dist / speed) of hare
let speed of tortoise be t and of hare be h
27/40t = 1/8h
h = (40/(8*27) )* t = 5/27 * t
Now for the next part hare has to cover 7/8 th distance when tortoise covers 1/8 th distance
so we get
1/8t = 7/8h
h = 7t
so the factor by which h's speed increases = 7t/ (5/27 * t)
which is 37.8
So answer is 37.8
Q5. Here 10 programers, type 10 lines with in 10 minutes then 60lines can type within 60
minutes. How many programmers are needed?
a) 16 b) 6 c) 10 d) 60
Ans: 10
10*10 / 10 = 70*x / 70 --10
This type of Q's repeated 4times for me but values are different.
Q6. Alok and Bhanu play the following min-max game. Given the expression
N=9+X+Y-Z
Where X, Y and Z are variables representing single digits (0 to 9), Alok would like to
maximize N while Bhanu
would like to minimize it. Towards this end, Alok chooses a single digit number and Bhanu
substitutes this for a variable of her choice (X, Y or Z). Alok then chooses the next value
and Bhanu, the variable to substitute the value. Finally Alok proposes the value for the
remaining variable. Assuming both play to their optimal strategies, the value of N at the end
of the game would be
a) 0 b) 27 c) 18 d) 20
The Q's concept is same but the equation of N's is changing.
Q7. Alice and Bob play the following coins-on-a-stack game. 20 coins are stacked one above
the other. One of them is a special (gold) coin and the rest are ordinary coins. The goal is to
bring the gold coin to the top by repeatedly moving the topmost coin to another position in
the stack.
Alice starts and the players take turns. A turn consists of moving the coin on the top to a
position i below the top coin (0 = i = 20). We will call this an i-move (thus a 0-move implies
doing nothing). The proviso is that an i-move cannot be repeated; for example once a
player makes a 2-move, on subsequent turns neither player can make a 2-move. If the gold
coin happens to be on top when it's a player's turn then the player wins the game. Initially,
the gold coinis the third coin from the top. Then
a) In order to win, Alice's first move should be a 1-move.
b) In order to win, Alice's first move should be a 0-move.
c) In order to win, Alice's first move can be a 0-move or a 1-move.
d) Alice has no winning strategy.
Ans: d
Q8. For the FIFA world cup, Paul the octopus has been predicting the winner of each match
with amazing success. It is rumored that in a match between 2 teams A and B, Paul picks A
with the same probability as A's chances of winning. Let's assume such rumors to be true
and that in a match between Ghana and Bolivia, Ghana the stronger team has a probability
of 2/3 of winning the game. What is the probability that Paul will correctly pick the winner of
the Ghana-Bolivia game?
a)1/9 b)4/9
Ans: 5/9
c)5/9
d)2/3
ghana wining and paul pickin ghana prob = 2/3
similarly for bolivia = 1/3
So answer = 2/3 * 2/3 + 1/3 * 1/3 = 5/9
Q9. 36 people {a1, a2, ..., a36} meet and shake hands in a circular fashion. In other words,
there are totally 36 handshakes involving the pairs, {a1, a2}, {a2, a3}, ..., {a35, a36},
{a36, a1}. Then size of the smallest set of people such that the rest have shaken hands
with at least one person in the set is
a)12
b)11
c)13
d)18
Let the 1st person be in the set...now he shakes hands with 36th and 2nd..so we choose the 4th person
to be in the set as he shakes with 3rd and 5th..so basically we choose every 3rd member of the
circle..so minimum no. of people reqd in the set are 12
Q10. After the typist writes 12 letters and addresses 12 envelopes, she inserts the letters
randomly into the envelopes (1 letter per envelope). What is the probability that exactly 1

Technical Round(TR): 28th Sept
My friends faced simple C programs and briefly about project. Now It's my turn, he asked
me about my self and about my main project nearly 35 minutes and 2 simple
Technical questions.
You should prepare C programs like reverse of a number, palindrome, fibonacci, even
number series, odd number series etc. and also data structure concepts.
MR round: Next day
This round is horrible for me, I faced some Technical questions here also.
He asked some basic concepts, i answered those questions correctly and confidently but he
argued with me that your answers are wrong then i told my answers are correct sir, then he
gave a horrible statement i.e "You think that I am not able to write even a simple C
program also" it was strange to me but i managed the situation. After some time he said
that
"Ok Mr. Gautam even you are not pefect in basic cinsepts how can i select you? So you can
go now try again after 6 months". He repeated this for 4 times, each time i smiled and
justifying my answer, he again repeated the same for 5th time too strange for me, at that
time i get up from the chair and again with a smile i asked that "Shell I wait at out side sir?"
then with a smile he said that "Ok Gautam you are promoted to H.R round".
I was very happy after clearing the M.R round. I proceeded to H.R round with a lot of
confidence.
H.R Round:
Here also i faced some Technical questions and H.R asked me that,
1) Tell me about your self?
2) Tell me any 2 incidents you want to share with me?
3) Why your % decreased in B.Tech? (As i had 77% in diploma, 73% in X , 68 in my
B.Tech)
4) Your strengths? (very frequnet qiestion but be prepared)
5) Your family?
6) How you ranked your self compared with your friends?
Rule 1: Prepare yourself on the following topics; Just brush up your basics: ages,
percentages, ratio and proportion, numbers, time and distance, sequence, time and work,
probability, permutation and combination & blood relation. {Here probability and per/com
is optional because it carries only 3-4 questions on it.}
Rule 2: Go through the previous papers in fresherworld of this test. I have also giving you
some relevant questions which appeared in our test.
Rule 3: Try to solve the questions by yourself; don't memorize them because data will be
changed.
Rule 4: Try to just interchange the data of the questions and solve them faster and faster.
The Time Management is a important skill often tested in aptitude test. So by practicing the
questions given below try to develop speed and accuracy.
Rule 5: Speed reading is a important part of this test as all the questions do have some
irrelevant data. So in these 3 days of preparation, try to find the relevant data from the
question and read very fast.
Tricks for aptitude test:
1) You will be asked to answer 35 questions in 60 minutes. At the beginning, don’t even
think to answer all questions.
2) Just go through all the 35 questions and solve the easy ones. Every paper consists of
minimum 15-17 easy questions and rest of them moderately difficult.
3) Try to answer the easy ones 15-16 questions out of 35 within 45 mins and also write the
individual number of moderately easy ones or mark them [that u think can do within 3-4
mins ] in the scratch paper.
4) Last 12-15 mins of the exam, try to solve the marked ones, atleast of 5 them.
5) The difference between you and others will lay answering marked ones, so try to solve
the easy 15-16 as fast as you can. [Caution: you try to believe that u can acquire 100%
accuracy in easy questions; so complete the easy questions of entire range question
number 1 to 35 within 40-45 mins.]
5) So after the time is completed, you will find urself answering 22-24 questions without
any rigorous preparation. Those who r a bit slower in calculations can also clear this test by
my plan. And cut off, as I already mentioned, lies below 20 around 18-19.
6) Last but not the least, don't try to mark the questions you are not absolutely sure; as the
paper consists of negative marking, you will not be able to meet the cutoff.

6. In school there are some bicycles and 4 wheeler wagons. One Tuesday there are 190
wheels in the campus. How many bicycles are there?
Ans: 15
Thought process : b*2+w*4=190 i.e. , b+2w=95 now see u ca not solve 2 unknowns fron
1 eqation, so just plot options here to get the right answer and verify if you are getting
integers as vales of B and W.
7. There are two persons paul and Jay .Paul lies on Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and the
remaining days he speaks truth.Jay lies on Thursday,Friday,Saturday and the remaining
Days he speaks truth. once they meet each other, in their conversation Paul says
that yesterday is the day one among those I lie. Jay also says that yesterday I also lie.
what is that day?
a) Sunday. b) Tuesday. c) Thursday. d) Wednesday
[Thought process: Now this day cannot be Sunday because in Monday paul speaks truth and
Sunday everyone tells truth. So it must be weekdays. Again, Tuesday can not possible
because Monday and Tuesday paul speaks truth. In case of thrus day, paul speaks lie and
Wednesday he speaks true. And joy speaks truth in thrusday and he speak lies in
Wednesday. So, thrusday is the answer.

1. Never Guess an answer . Attend only the questions you are reasonably certain of
answering correctly . (I attended exactly 30 questions , Never guessed any question
randomly.
2. If you dont get the answer in the first try or you get stuck up quickly skip the question .
Come back to it later if you have time. ( I attended the first question skipped 8 questions
before answering the next question).
3. Read the question fully once and find out what they are asking . Most of the time they
give a lot of irrelevant data to confuse you. For example they may ask a problem on ages
but may also give you data on blood relations (i have 2 brother and 2 sisters. You have to
correctly deduce the fact that you only need information related to Age and the rest is
irrelevant data .
4. Try not to panic at the sight of those long questions. Most problems are very simple
which require you to do some logical thinking with a clear mind.
5. There will be certain questions which will be very simple but will have small twists .
6. Most questions asked have a fixed pattern. A friend of mine attended the interview on
21st (she too got selected). Most of the questions i got were similar to the ones she got with
slight changes introduced (learn the logic dont mug up the answer) .
Some of the questions which I remembered are as given below.
1) If an old women's age is the same as her three grand daughters i, mean the number of
days old child=the no of weeks old child=no of months old child. The total years of all these
ppl is 114 years then how old is the old woman?
The year has 365 days and 30 days each month.
I calculated it with the options given try 2 use the calculator its easy. Don't remember the
answer.
2) There was a piece of cloth which is 135 miles long and 35ft wide and some nonsense

saying the truth he lied yest but jill is lying again as he lies on that day.
16) Scientist starts from his base camp from North (my friend got North Pole) chases after a
Bear etc.
Answer lies in the first sentence that says that Bear's Color changes according to the
weather. As far as i know there are 2 kinds of bears. The Normal ones which are Black and
the Polar Bears which are white. Polar Bears are present only in the North and South poles
(Arctic and Antarctica). I chose white i am not sure if that was correct (if it was North Pole
white is the correct answer)
17) Seamstress makes a cut on a piece of cloth in 3 secs. If she wants to cut the cloth into
11 pieces. How much time would it take. (My friend got the same question with different

Best of luck for those attending the off-campus.
29) I don't remember exactly the question, one logical problem stating the colour of beer?
Ans: White.
30) There was a scientist who after doing research, found that color of skin of animals vary
with change in distance. One day he started to chase a beer. He walked 1 mile towards
north, then turned and walked 1 mile towards east and then caught the beer and radioribboned the beer. Then he left the beer at that spot and returned to his base-station taking
a turn towards south (walked 1 mile towards south). Then what was the color of beer at
that spot?
a)White b)Brown c)Black
d)Grey
31) Also a one question like color of bear? (obviously its black)
Ans. Black
32) The problem of BEAR is about identifying its color with regard to its Region whether it is
from North or South or East or West. Because, The Bear's color will vary in different location

will be 43 and seventh person joined with them. hence the current average age has become
45. find the age of seventh person?
Solution: Here the question appear as an easy one, but carried a lot of unwanted sentences
and unwanted datas (i dint mention above) in exam which may confuse you on solving
technique.
5) Let x be current average age of first 6 persons in queue and current age of seventh
person be y. Then 6x will become the sum of those 6 persons age. Now, let compute the
sum of those 6 persons after two years, 6x+12 (as each and individual increase their age by
2). hence its average become (6x+12)/6 = 43 (give in question itself). So now we can
compute x from above equation. (x = 41, 6x = 246).
Let now we compute y, ((6x+y)/7) = 45, as we have value of x, compute y.
Ans: 69
6) Horse started to chase dog as it relieved stable two hrs ago. And horse started to ran
with average speed 22km/hr, horse crossed 10 mts road and two small pounds with depth
3m, and it crossed two small street with 200 mts length. After traveling 6 hrs, 2hrs after
sunset it got dog. compute the speed of dog?
Ans: As we have speed and travel time of horse, we can get distance travelled by it.
Hence d = 22*6 = 132km,
Exactly this 132km was travelled by dog in 8 hours (as it started two hours earlier).
Hence speed of dog = 132/8 = 16.5km/hr
Ans: 16.5km/hr.
7) 3, 22 , 7, 45, 15, ? , 31
Solution: Here it appear simple, because it arranged in arranged in sequence manner, but
the actual question was some what twist mentioning fibonacci series and more over
question was in statements (no numbers). Hence first try to understand the question well.
Here let group alternate terms 3,7,15,31 (3+4 =7, 7+8 =15, 15+16=31)
Similarly for second group (22,45,? (22+23 = 45, 45+46 = 91) hence ans is 91.

concept also.
13. Some question based on Dice and Cubes but unfortunately i forget those questions.
Technical Interview:
I got my interview schedule after four days in TCS Office Noida but lots of frends got dere
schedule on the day of paper. So be prepared mentally for interview n yeah be well dressed
it makes really a positive impact.
The interviewer was a beautiful lady the near about 28 years old.She welcomed me when
i entered in the room.My interview continued till 20mins.Imp Instruction if u r from Non cs
background den u can say u don't have much idea about s/w field then they asked u about
ur subjects but u have to impress him by knowledge of ur field n give them assurance that
u will do really good at a time of ur training.
* Tell me about ur self?(u have to tell about u n ur family background)
* My strength n weakness.(Be prepared for this question).
* About My final year project. (You have to tell whatever you done, its depend on. So
whatever you speak be confident)
* About summer training.(U have to specify about whatever u learn there they can ask u
simple ques regarding training)
* MY favourite subjects(I told DBMS, so she asked me about languages used in DBMS, Sql
queries, and about normalization etc.) ( It's really simple beccause this is in your hand to
tell a specific subject and they will ask you simple questions regarding your subject. It's not
necessary to give answer of all questions if you don't know say confidently i don't know.)
* She asked me About computer languages i said, i am comfortable in C and C++. So she
asked me what is a different between C and C++, Oops concepts, Different between Static
and final, write a program for palindrome. (Prepared for Some program Like (palindrome,
Fibonacci, Recursion, Strings, Factorial etc.)
* Generally they asked about your CV stuffs so make your CV according to your comfort
zone. May be they can ask something different from your CV but in that case you can easily
say i have no idea. In my case they asked about Unix commands.
Frankly speaking interview was so good because you have need to show that you
technically sounds better. So be prepared for the interview.
After technical we called for MR(Managerial round)
It was just a 7-8 min round.
They can ask you technical or puzzles or about your hobbies anything. So don't worry for
this round.
* The interviewer asked me about my hobbies, my family background.
* He gave me a puzzle like (a candle burns in 60min. Then how can two candles can burn
in 90min. Ans we can burn a candle first n in 60 min this will burn completely den we will
burn second one from both of end so it would take 90 min to burn both of candles.)
* Then he suddenly changed the question and said now you have 45 min to burn both of
candles and i couldn't do but he gave me 4 min to solve and insisted me luckily i got the
right answer and i replied. we would burn first candle from both of end and at same time we
would burn second candle from starting point so in 30 min the first one will burn completely
and second will burn half then we will burn second burning candle from another point also,
So in this way both of candles will burn in 45min.
* He asked me to write a simple C program to add two numbers and picked a questons like
roll of void main(), getch(), and about some header files.
Guys if you are worry about puzzles then frankly speaking look for some basic puzzles of
Shakuntla Devi. My be they can ask you puzzle.
HR Round:
This round was just of 2-3 minutes.
* They asked me how was my Technical round.
* Have i been placed in anywhere else(I replied yeah in infosys also, i don't know what
impact of this would be on her)
* Then she asked if i would been placed in infosys then why would i join TCS(i replied
because of work culture and ethics in TCS)
* At last she said me "Ok rahul we have done, you can go now".

I have done only 19 problems out of 35, but i am very much sure that all i made were 100% right. In
last 5 min i did not solve any problem but still i holded my nerve and didnot make any guess, all my
friends made 23-24 questions even one of my friend did 28 questions, at that time i was very much
depressed, i thought i need to solve one more problem. But when the result was announced i have
cleared the aptitude and some of my friends who solved more question than me unfortunately not
cleared the aptitude just because of they made some guesses so my suggestion is that please don't
make any guess.
After that there is a form fill-up part, and next the my interview was held, truely speakng friends i
could not sleep at that night and going to the interview hahahha. Sometimes i felt i was sleeping just

intrvw: whc dbms is uesed in oracle?
me: rdbms
intrvw: why?
me: told some reason but actually i dont know the original reason, i told them there is a option of
insert, delete, drop, modify so it's should be rotational DBMS may be it is right.
intrvw: so u know java

Ohh God it's took too much time almost 1 hour.
1. In lengthy questions first 1 to 3 lines used to be unnecessary time waste information, and the
problem correctly starts from 3 or 4 th line. So, read the question fastly with in few seconds & try to
know from where the question starts.
2. Among 35 some questions between 8 to 10 are given direct question without unnecessary
matter. So, friends when u feel a question is lengthy or u can't solve it just leave it go to others
(maybe be other questions r direct).
3. I think it will be better to have a view of all bits by half an hour doing all known or easy bits
because we can't say where easiest bit will be because I saw 1 easy bit in last 20 sec and I was
unable to attempt it.
4. Take calculator with you to written exam ,they will allow it.It makes ur work easier.
Coming to preparation for written test it is enough if go through examples and 1st exercises in R.S
Aggarwal
topics include ratio, average, age problems etc.
Never try to guess and answer. I have attempted 21 out of 35 no guess work .
I got a mail that i cleared written exam.
Next Rounds: 1-9-10
Technical
MR
HR
Some of the selected had one round after another.
And some had MR and Technical at a time then HR round.
I had Technical and MR at once
Here I was asked Technical itself?
I was of E.C.E background
I kept interested subject as circuit theory ,C language
I will write questions asked
Have you attempted for Tcs before?
answered
Do you Know about digital electronics
yes
design a nand gate using nor gates
did
draw a circuit using R,L,C?
did
Why we have to use inductor in circuits, what is their behavior?

Are there any question?
I asked the question(E.C.E related) that i was unable to answer before
They explained.
Me: Good afternoon Sir!
TR: Godd Afternoon, please sit down.
Me: Thank you Sir
TR: So prashant you are a Tewari with "E" instead of "I"
Me: (smiling..) Yes, sir
TR: Tell me abt yourself
Me: blah..blah.blah...
TR: so u are doing software Testing course(mentioned in resume)
Me: Yes Sir, i am almost finished with it.
(THen he asked me the details about the course ,its fees, duration etc.)
TR: so u know C and Python(as i had mentioned it in my resume)
Me: Yes sir i do know, but i am not proficient in programming languages.
TR: Ok, so tell me What is black box testing?
Me: blah..
TR: How is white box Testing is diffrent from Black box testing?
Me: (tld him abt every detail.)
TR: Have you done anytype of testing?
Me: Yes sir,...black box testing....i am doing free lancing( told some of my software testing
projects)
TR: Who make the test cases?
Me: Sir.... Tester himself.
TR: What are Test cases?
Me: blah..(he asked some more questions on testing but i didnt remember)
TR: When you find any bug what do you do ...i mean what does your report include?
Me: (explained in detail as i was very comfortable in software testing)
TR: Good!!( he looked impressed) :)
TR: Do you know anything about DB languages like Oracle etc.?
Me: No sir i have no idea at all!!( although i knew a little bit ...but i preferred to keep quiet)
TR: Dont you think doing testing without knowing any language....will become difficult?
Me: Sir, i absolutely agree with you and i am looking forward to learn these languages after my
course finishes next week.
TR: Good!!
Me: Thank you sir( i was jumping in inside with joy)
TR: I think you are good ....prashant.... thats it for this round... u may leave now.
Me: Thank you sir.
I was very happy with my performance and was very sure to get a call for the next round that was MR.
My name was announced for the MR at 5:30 and i was asked to wait for some time.
After a long wait i again got called for the MR at around 10 pm. My MR round was a mix of Technical, MR, and HR questions. He
asked a lot of questions ranging from software testing to my favourate topic( Data communication), then related to my project,
about my hobbies. viz.
What are different. types of testing?
What is black box testing?
What is a router?
Difference between switch and router?
Reading is your hobby...then which book are u reading nowadays?
What this book is all about and whats your opinion?
Which book u read last time, completely?
What do u do to update yourself in technical advancements?
and a lot of more questions.... my interview stretched to around 25 mins.
I answered all the questions confidently except a single question on flash card in a router...so i
humbly said that i dnt have much idea abt internal parts of a router.
He was looking impressed lets say him MR.
MR: Prashant it was very nice talking to u ...any questions?
Me: yes sir, i want to know that promotions in TCS in based upon experience or performance
MR: (explained upto 3 mins)
Me: Sir any suggestions for me to improve myself?
MR: Nothing special...just keep learning the way you are learning now...rest is good.
Me: Thank you Sir.(...and then i left)
My Technical and MR rounds were just near to perfect not a single wrong answer.... i was
surprised at the luck i was having on that day. After MR i was sure that i they(TCS) gonna select
me, so i felt very relaxed.
A huge elimination was done like before, after the MR round.

Finally Read the Formula's of GEOMETRY.
Make yourself cool in the exam. because questions contains lot of bogus things, you have to
avoid it home preparation of avoiding may be result a good one. So prepare it.
Tips:
First see what answer they want that must be in the last line read it first and then go upwards and
take necessary data for that and the solve it, read the data not the lines.
MY APTITUDE:
(It’s on 29th from 12.00pm. But it’s happen at 4.10 and result will be out at 7.30 pm thanks god i
am able to make it)
These are only the required part it's contain lot of bogus things data may not be correct here
different person get different set don't see your friend answers.

1.6 persons standing in queue with different age group, after two years their
average age will be 43 and seventh person joined with them. hence the
current average age has become 45. find the age of seventh person?
Ans: Let x be current average age of first 6 persons in queue and current
age of seventh person be y. Then 6x will become the sum of those 6
persons age.
Now, let compute the sum of those 6 persons after two years,
6x+12 (as each and individual increase their age by 2). hence its average
become
(6x+12)/6 = 43
=>x+2=43
=>x=41
Let now we compute y, ((6*41+y)/7) = 45,
y= 69

Given that B fills up at the rate 10,20,40 etc...
This is a geometric progression where a = 10 r = 2
so after 21 hrs lts in B = a*r21
= 10 * 221
This is equal to 1/32 volume of B
SO TOTAL VOLUME OF B = 32 * 10 * 2^21
which is =10 * 2^26
So hrs required to fill up B is 26
