CHRISTMAS MUSIC SERVICE: The Adult Christmas Choir with Orchestra will
present “Light in the Darkness” on Sunday, December 13, at 5 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Invite someone to join you as we celebrate the season in music!
ADVENT BOOKLETS: Advent booklets are available as you leave worship and in the
church office. Please feel free to get one per family. These booklets contain artwork
by our children, testimonies of faith, Scripture guides for Advent and schedules of
many of the Advent/Christmas activities at Winter Park Baptist.
DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER: Children's Church will not meet. Children's
Church resumes on January 10 at the Open Door service.
DROP-IN AND DECORATE! Christmas Cookie Party at the Lairmore's (4114
Rounding Bend Lane) on Saturday, December 19, from 1:00 p.m. -3:00
p.m. Children with parents are invited. Decorated cookies will be shared with
homebound church members during Christmas Caroling on December 20.

NATIVITY DISPLAY: The Nativity display on the table in the Bell Tower has been
created by boys and girls in Sunday School. Be sure to stop by each week to see the
additions our children make to the manger scene.

WELCOME: Congratulations to Lesley and Brad Jernigan on the birth of their

GIBSON AVE. FOOD PANTRY: Food for those in need - greatest needs in
December are grits, oatmeal, flour, and canned meats but all food staples will be
used. Collection tubs are in concourse near library.
CHRISTMAS GIFT: CBF Global Missions mobilizes 125 field personnel who work in
over 30 countries. These are our missionaries! Please give a gift this month to Global
Missions, envelopes in pew racks.
