Some Geometrical Objects in Our Environment
Solid Figures
Some objects which we can see in our environment are called
solid figures.
You have probably seen objects that have these shapes.
rectangular prism
cube
cylinder
cone
sphere
pyramid
You can think of real objects that have these shapes. For example,
a tennis ball is a sphere.
Rectangular prism
- This box is a rectangular
prism.
- Each corner of the box
is a vertex of the prism.
- Each edge of the box is
an edge of the prism.
- Each side of the box is a
face of the prism.
