PROYECTO: LA COMIDA 2015 LA COMIDA Y LA PRESENTACIÓN: Choose a typical food from a SPANISH-speaking country to prepare at home to bring to class and tell the class how to prepare this food using Uds. mandatos (commands). You may work with a partner on the food part only, but you are equally responsible for bringing in your prepared homemade dish (you may not buy a pre-made dish), and will both have to do your presentations on the same day. Each of you needs to: 1. Choose and make a dish, have someone take pictures of you doing each of your steps, and put your pictures on google slides. In order to get credit, it must be clear that it is you in the photos! 2. Write 5 main steps of the preparation using UDS. COMMANDS of 5 DIFFERENT verbs - (10 per pair). These steps must be on a page on your google slides, but not on the pages with your photos. Keep these commands simple! Ejemplos: Mix the eggs and sugar. Cut the peppers. 3. In addition, write 2 sentences in Spanish using the SUBJUNCTIVE – (4 per pair). Ejemplo: I hope that you enjoy this food. You need 4 different verbs for each 2 sentences. These sentences must be on a page on your google slides, but not on the pages with your photos. 4. Memorize the 5 steps and the 2 subjunctive sentences. 5. Demonstrate to the class how to make this dish, using pictures of yourself and commands you memorized. You will be signing up for either Monday, Dec. 21, Tuesday, Dec. 22, or Wed. 23. You will lose points per day if you aren’t ready to present, don’t have your food, or don’t have your cooking photos and written sentences – see rubric below!
