What are lichens? Can you name some of the species of trees in the park? What do
lichens tell us about air pollution?
Trees
You need to survey four trees in two different sites, one next to the road and one away from the road.
When you have found your transect of four trees measure the girth of each and record it in the table along
with the species of your trees.
