On October 7, 2015, the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) awarded the FCSO with its third re-accreditation since receiving initial accreditation in February 2005. The work, direction and vision to obtain the initial accreditation came from Sheriff James L. Manfre in his first term as Flagler County Sheriff.
