Sheriff James L. Manfre
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office provides
our community with the highest quality law
enforcement and inmate services through a
commitment to Accountability, Integrity and
Respect.
 More than just a sheriff’s office contract for
police services, a commitment to the community.
 All the resources of your own police department
with service tailored to your needs.
Accreditation increases a law enforcement
agency’s ability to prevent and control crime
through more effective and efficient delivery of
law enforcement services to the community it
serves.
It also serves as a yardstick to measure the
effectiveness of the agency’s programs and
services.
On October 7, 2015, the Commission for Florida
Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) awarded
the FCSO with its third re-accreditation since
receiving initial accreditation in February 2005.
The work, direction and vision to obtain the
initial accreditation came from Sheriff James L.
Manfre in his first term as Flagler County
Sheriff.
 The Neighborhood Services Division (NSD) is the largest division
within the Sheriff’s Office. Sworn Deputies are assigned to such
areas as patrol, special operations, court services and traffic
enforcement .
 The NSD is the “backbone” of the agency and is the most visible
section at the Sheriff's Office.
 The Sheriff's Office prides itself on providing our citizens with the
highest quality law enforcement services.
Consists of Two Platoons
Alpha Platoon
Alpha Red
Alpha Blue
Bravo Platoon
Bravo Red
Bravo Blue
 Each platoon works 12-hour shifts and provides citywide protection and community services 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
 Each shift is comprised and supervised by a
Sergeant and two Corporals.
 Each platoon is overseen by a Platoon Commander.
 The Platoon Commander and supervisors work side
by side with the deputies on a daily basis to provide
the citizens with the highest level of law enforcement
services.
 Deputies respond to calls for service and proactively
patrol the City of Palm Coast, to deter criminal
activity.
 In 2015, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 102,237
calls for service in the City of Palm Coast.
 NSD deputies work hand in hand with Palm Coast
Code Enforcement and Animal Control to address
quality-of-life issues throughout the city.
