Computer center- I-ready Math/ST MATH Students will be given a list on numbers that they will have to write in expanded form. They will then cut out the numbers and turn the cards face down. They will take turns picking two cards and adding the numbers together in expanded form and then writing the answer in numerical form. Challenge Activity – Three separate center activities from IReady Center Activity (2.23, 2.25, and 2.27). Directions and supplies for each activity will be supplied for the center. One center is mental math, one center is adding three digit numbers using the boxes supplied on the sheet for expanded form, and the last center is when the student writes the numbers down, expands them out on their own and adds them together to the correct sum. Students will work in pairs. Exit slips, discussion, interactive math journal. Weekly test given on Friday. Homework is given each week on Monday, and turned in on Friday.
