You need to set up two separate stations before you administer the test. For performance assessment question number 10, use Scorria (Rock 1) and Tuff (Rock 2) as your two rock samples. For performance assessment question 11, have all three weather instruments available - thermometer, - anemometer - wind vane. The student will choose which instrument to accurately measure the weather During the Test: Students should have a minimum of 45 minutes to complete the test. At the teacher’s discretion, the test may be administered in one or two sessions. In addition, the performance portions of the test may be given to a portion of the class while the reminder of the class is working on the written portion.
