Career Research Paper
Due: __________/__________/_________
"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things,
but their inward significance." Aristotle
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." Pablo Picasso
"A primitive artist is an amateur whose work sells." Grandma Moses
College graduates use their education in a wide variety of fields, and your future career should
relate more to your personal interests, work values and skills than any specific academic major.
You may choose an art related career to do your “Career Research Paper” about, or any
career title that interests you.
This career research paper must be based on a career or a long-term work position that you
wish to obtain by attending a trade school, internship, college, university, or military study program.
A job that you can attain with a high school diploma will not qualify for this assignment.
Here is a list that contains a sample of job titles of graduates with an Art Major.
Use this as an idea list, and remember that it represents some but certainly not all, of the careers you
might consider. Some of these careers also require education beyond a bachelors' degree.
