Session length varies by grade and subject area
Separate Manuals for each school level (middle,

All Students at Selected Schools
Participate in BAT
Participation:
• In 2012-13 all grade 3-5 students will participate in a comprehensive
Math BAT.
• Most 6-8 grade students will take a comprehensive Math BAT.
However, those students enrolled in Algebra or Geometry in grades
6-8 will take either Algebra or Geometry instead of a comprehensive
Math BAT.
• Algebra/Geometry/Biology are enrollment based. If a MS or HS
student (6-12) is enrolled in one of the classes on page 2 of the
BAT manual, they take the corresponding BAT EOC assessment.
• All 3-10 students will participate in a comprehensive Reading BAT.
• All grades 5 & 8 students will participate in a comprehensive Science

• Exceptions: If a student normally does not take the FCAT (i.e. ESE)
