Other schools may opt-in BAT #2- all non-charter and select charter schools Multiple choice questions only Reading, Mathematics/Algebra/Geometry and Science/Biology 1-page answer sheet for Reading & Math/Algebra /Geometry and 1-page answer sheet for Science/Biology 3 Test Information Cont’d Session length varies by grade and subject area Separate Manuals for each school level (middle, elementary and high) MS students will now take Algebra and Geometry, instead of the comprehensive grade level Mathemetics BATs, if enrolled Rulers are to be used on grades 3 & 4 math test 4 All Students at Selected Schools Participate in BAT Participation: • In 2012-13 all grade 3-5 students will participate in a comprehensive Math BAT. • Most 6-8 grade students will take a comprehensive Math BAT. However, those students enrolled in Algebra or Geometry in grades 6-8 will take either Algebra or Geometry instead of a comprehensive Math BAT. • Algebra/Geometry/Biology are enrollment based. Make sure students who took the Algebra or Geometry BAT have that test type marked on the front of the answer sheet or the Algebra or Geometry bubble gridded (hand grid) NO post-its, paper bands, paper clips, rubber bands, dividing papers, or other materials No header sheet or count forms Make sure that Invalidated answer sheet section(s) have answer “F” of item 100 gridded. 24 Packaging Answer Sheets Place Reading & Math hand-gridded answer sheets on top of Reading & Math pre-gridded answer sheets and Science hand-gridded answer sheets on top of the Science pre-gridded answer sheets. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT ALL ANSWER SHEETS FACE THE SAME DIRECTION!!!! Place the Reading & Math answer sheets in a box and affix a RED “to be scored” return label on it.
