Ex. bat. Also, any word that rhymes with
bat – cat, mat, etc.
*These Words are HIGH
FREQUENCY
words. These generally do not follow any
pattern. We sometimes call them ‘OUTLAW’
words since they do not follow the usual
PHONICS RULES.

at THIS time requiring that the KIDs learn to
