Persuasive Essay For this assignment, you will type a multi-paragraph persuasive essay. You will have three days to select a topic, create an outline, and conduct your research. We will go back to the computer lab next week to type the final copy. You will need to turn in an outline, rough draft, self edit, and typed final copy. These assignments are due on Tuesday, April 16th. This is a major grade assignment. When you type your essay, it must include the following: Your name, date, and class period Introductory paragraph At least 3 Body paragraphs Concluding paragraph Font should be: Times New Roman Font color should be: Automatic Font size should be: 14 All paragraphs need to be indented There should be ONE space between each paragraph Works Cited page from at least 3 sources Use at least 1 of the following persuasive techniques: o Loaded Language o Logical Appeal o Emotional Appeal o Appeal by Association For your essay, you will choose one of the topics from this list. You will choose an argument for the topic and create a claim. You will then support that claim using reasons and evidence from your research of the topic.
