There is currently an opportunity within the company for a
marketing & brand assistant.
This role requires a self -motivated graduate with excellent
interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and a
knowledge / interest in helping to build the brand identity.
This role will involve:
 Research creative marketing opportunities
 Contribute to The Bearhug Co's 250k social media
followers
 Research competitors
 Organise future brand events
 Plan, Research & Book the companies external plans
 Take ownership of The Bearhug Co blog. Writing content
and posting regular updates
 Build & Strengthen customer relations
 Researching creative industries to potentially feature on
blog posts or social media outlets, relative to our
 Contribute to the business by constantly looking for new
and innovative ways to widen our customer base
 Help with the development with our new brand The
Youngbear Co – taking responsibility of researching
relevant demographics and areas that we can market to
these potential customers
 Taking ownership of creating social media outlets
 Upkeep of The Bearhug Co website
A degree in Fashion, Marketing or Business Development
preferable – but not a necessity.
Person Specification
Essential requirements
You MUST be able to answer YES to the following questions and show examples in your
covering letter




Degree with pass grade of 2:2 is required – within Marketing/business/PR preferably
Marketing experience would be beneficial
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office – advantage if the
candidate has knowledge of Adobe Suite
 Passionate & Original ideas towards growing the company
Desirable skills
These are not essential but may enhance your application if you can give evidence of your
experience in your covering letter
 Previous experience of SEO, Marketing software such as email platforms, web analytics
software and CRM analytics tools would be beneficial
 Previous experience in email marketing in an e-commerce business
 Aware commercially - current trends & brands
 Punctual, Proactive & Creative
 Team player but able to work off of own initiative with minimal direction
