The DIP (District Improvement Plan) Strategic Goals are located at the front of the DIP (District Improvement Plan) and your CIP (Campus
Improvement Plan). We have three of these goal areas as a result of our Strategic Plan. They are labeled Strategic Objective/Goal 1, 2, and 3.
You will choose the main strategic goal area(s) in which your “Teacher Goal” best aligns. On your goal setting form, this is the box that reads “DIP
Strategic Goal#”.
The DIP Performance Objective will be one of the more specific objectives listed under one of the 3 main strategic goals discussed in the above paragraph. There are 14 performance objectives under strategic goal #1, 3 performance objectives under strategic goal #2, and 4 performance objectives under strategic goal #3.
The “Teacher Goal” is directly related to your campus goal, which your campus principal set to align with your CIP and the DIP. The DIP aligns with the District Strategic Plan. The District Strategic Plan was created by a committee of representatives that included teachers, administrators, and parents, business, and community members. Our District Strategic Plan is a 5 year plan and we are currently in our 4 th year of implementation.
Your teacher goal should be written to include three areas of growth- student achievement, technology, and professional learning. They should all work together to assist you in obtaining your overall teacher goal.
