Award is $1,000 with potential for $10,000
Requirements:
-high school senior entering his or her freshman year at an accredited, nonprofit 2 or 4year university or college
-Must have an established business
-children of current-dues paying NFIB members who meet the requirements.
Note: You should consider any endeavors or work experience you have offered as a
community service. For example, babysitting, lawn care, dog walking, tutoring, etc. An
officially established business is not a requirement.

$250 local, $1000 state, $10,000 national (also potential FFA connection)
Requirements:
-3.0 gpa on 4.0 scale
-must support the preservation of the hunting tradition and actively participate in hunting

-must hold a current NWTF membership (also can be taken care of when scholarship
recipient is selected)
-involved in extracurricular activities

John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest
One $5,000 award, one $1,000 award, and five $500 awards
Requirements:
-be in grades 9-12
-employees of Fidelity Investments and members of their families are not eligible
-Write an original and creative essay of less than 1,000 words that demonstrates an
understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in
Courage. Use at least five varied sources, such as newspaper article, books, and/or
personal interviews.

Ohio “Kids Safe Online” Poster Contest (for grades K-12)
The top three high school winning posters from the high school age group will be
submitted to the Multi-State Cyber Security Awareness Calendar Contest. The winning
posters from the Multi-State Cyber Security Awareness Calendar Contest will be
displayed in the 2013 National Cyber Security Calendar and also may be used in
campaigns to raise awareness among youth about Internet and computer safety.

Also, a $1,000 scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in a Tech Prep

of full-time study with a 3.0 or better.
An achievement scholarship is also available through the New Bremen Guidance Office.
