New Windsor Foods App Improves Foodservice Profitability
(Houston, TX) – Windsor Foods has created a time and money-saving application for
foodservice professionals available for free on iTunes. The Profit Calculator Application
uses information provided by the user, such cost per case, unit of measure, units per case
and more, to calculate the real cost and gross profit of food products. The application
enables the user to make better, more profitable choices for his or her restaurant.
“We know restaurateurs are always looking for ways to save money in the back of the
house,” says Brad Kumin, director of marketing at Windsor Foods. “This tool allows
decision makers in the foodservice industry to set menu prices for better profitability,
comparison shop between two products and even find more economical side dishes for a
menu item.“
The calculator app is an industry first and will be a helpful tool for either the individual
restaurant owner, or chain operators. One of the features of the app is it allows the user to
save the calculations and either email, print or text the results to others.
