The Bright Futures Scholarship program is regulated by legislative changes annually.

What should you know about
Bright Futures

 Application is open December 1st of their senior year.
Current seniors will complete the application in their
English classes in January.
 Students must take ACT or SAT testing.
 Students can start earning your Volunteer hours right
now. Don’t wait for their senior year. Volunteer form is
available in our website: http://lake.k12.fl.us/lmh; click
on Guidance; click forms
 The scholarships are reviewed every year by the state, so
things can be changed.
 The amount of the scholarship is not enough to pay full
tuition at any college. Students need to apply for
additional scholarships.
