Scholarship Information Bulletin
March 8, 2012
All college and scholarship information is also available on the Wagner High School website in the College and Career Section:
http://school.judsonisd.org/webpages/scarlton/. It is a good idea to go back and read through the previous bulletins to make
sure you haven’t missed an opportunity.
Spring Break is upon us. This is a good time to catch up on those applications! Don’t forget, though, that if
you need a transcript you should request it at least two weeks ahead of the deadline if at all possible!! The
school will be closed during the break.
If you have not completed your FAFSA yet, please take the time this week to do so. If you haven’t done
your taxes yet, you should go ahead and complete the FAFSA based on last year’s tax returns now. You
can go in later to make corrections once you have done your 2011 taxes. Remember, you must have
applied and been accepted to a college to receive any type of financial aid package from that college and
you must meet the college’s deadline to receive the most assistance.
All Seniors at Wagner High School should apply for the Judson Education Foundation
Scholarship!!! – deadline March 23, 2012. You must print, complete and mail two copies of the
scholarship application with two letters of recommendation and your transcript by the deadline.
