Income at or below 50% AMI

If household receives assistance for rent arrears they must document proof of financial hardship such as medical expenses, loss of income, or other crisis. Verification disability affects ability to pay rent acceptable

If have current or former HomeBASE assistance check with caseworker

Rental arrearage- copy of summary process summons and complaint, and court judgment or defaulted payment plan

Advocate and client must fill out the online application together  after sending application, instructions sent for advocate to call to schedule a meeting o Recipients required to “pay forward” to three other women  must help three other women in some way

(babysitting, etc, does not need to be monetary aid) o Recipients required to fill out a survey about how they are doing a year after receiving grant
