DESCRIBING HOUSES
A: “What is your house like?”
B: “It´s big and……”
II. Match the following descriptions with the types of housing.
1. It´s small and modern. There is a
bedroom and a bathroom. It´s on
the third floor. I can use the stairs
or elevator to go up.
2. It’s huge with tall stone towers at
the entrance. It has long spiral
stairs and granite floor. There are
lots of cherry blossom trees and
fountains in the yard.
3. It´s small and traditional. It´s in a
rural area near a river. There´s a
nice garden at the back. We use it
as a holiday home on summer.
4. It´s not a big house but the rooms
are comfortable. I share one with
my friend Sara. There are two
beds, a closet and a desk. It
doesn´t include meals but it´s near
our school.
5. It has a large first floor deck with a
picnic table and a gas grill. There´s
a pool and it has a great view of
the ocean. It´s the best place to
relax.
