APUSH TEST CORRECTIONS GARLAND Test Corrections are not required, but are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the APUSH multiple choice tests. They provide many benefits that you cannot get from other activities. Doing test corrections: helps you review your reading. clarifies information. makes information stay with you longer. is good practice for future tests. makes you a better test taker. helps raise your grade. o If you complete all test corrections each semester, you can drop your lowest multiple choice test score. Test Corrections need to follow this format: Incorrect answers will not be marked on the scantron, so you will need to work with your group to determine which answers you got wrong. For each of the answers that you got wrong, you will need to write a correct answer statement. This means you will need to write a sentence that gives the correct information from the question and answer. o If it is a NOT question, do not tell me which answers were wrong, tell me the correct answer. Your name and the title of the test (ex. Chapter 11-12 MC) need to be at the top of the corrections. When you have completed the test corrections, put it in the correct folder of the Test Corrections box (blue with red sign) on the windowsill. You should try to complete test corrections within a week of taking the test. I will go over some of the correct answers the day after the test is given, but if you want to see all of the correct answers to see if you answered all of your corrections right, you will need to come in before or after school or during SRT.
