– Will be placed according to skills and interests
– Hundreds of projects are running concurrently
– Each project is in a different stage of it’s life
cycle
– Each business function has different projects.

Two Key Areas of Responsibility
 Application Development
– Designing, coding, testing and implementing and
supporting new systems that are used to support the
business functional areas
– Development in COBOL, Visual Basic, JAVA ...
 Information Technology
– Provide the data, tools and capabilities to deliver core
information services in such areas as Operating systems
(Unix, AS400, NT), Internet technologies, Database
administration (DB2, ORACLE)
