Vocabulary in Writing THE SEARCH: Choose ONE of the following prompts from the Vocabulary Workshop workbook. Pg. #40, Prompt #2 THE TASK: Respond to your chosen prompt in at least five paragraphs. Your opening and closing paragraphs must each be 3–5 sentences long; your middle three paragraphs must each be 5–7 sentences long. Your response must incorporate at least two Unit 1 terms, three Unit 2 terms, and five Unit 3 terms. Underline the terms you use. Your response must incorporate at least two simple sentences (yellow highlight), two compound sentences (green highlight), two complex sentences (blue highlight), and two compound-complex sentences (orange highlight). Remember to use a variety of sentence structures in each paragraph. Use both prepositions and subordinating conjunctions to create dependent clauses.
