COMMON CORE/ESSENTIAL STANDARDS
CURRICULUM GUIDES
FINAL OBJECTIVE (UBD)
To create curriculum guide to be used by 6-8
grade teachers.
 Provide resources for the implementation of NC
Essential Standards for science
 Develop strategies to implementation of CCSS

DEVELOPMENT TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify a Team Leader
 Review current resources for suitability
 Edit, revise modify to align with new NCES
 Add good resources to template
 Identify gaps and create new resources to fill
gaps
 Train teachers to use new curriculum guide

EXTENDED EMPLOYMENT
80 hours of extended employment
 April 1- June 23

Orientation Meeting March 23
