• Complete 4 advanced courses that prepare the student to enter the
workforce or postsecondary education without remediation from within one
endorsement or areas that are not in a coherent sequence OR
• Four credits in each of the four foundation subject areas to include English IV
and Chemistry and or Physics OR
• Four credits in advanced placement or dual credit selected from English,
Math, Science or Social Studies, Economics, LOTE or Fine Arts

Distinguished Level of Achievement
• Successfully completing the curriculum requirements for the Foundation High
School Program
• Completing at least one endorsement
• Completing 4 credits in English, 4 credits in Science and 4 credits in math to
include Algebra 2.
To qualify for Top 10% Automatic Admissions, students must graduate at
the Distinguished Level of Achievement.

Performance Acknowledgements
Students may earn performance acknowledgement for outstanding performance
in/on one of the following:
1. Dual Credit Courses
2. AP Exam
3. PSAT, SAT, ACT
4. Bilingualism or Biliteracy
5. Obtaining a national or internationally business or industry certification or
license.

• Using your student's transcript, locate the semester grades for each class
completed.
• Using the GPA scale locate the grade point assigned for that grade.
• Add the grade points.
• Divide by the total number of classes

Options for Earning and Recovering Credit
Credit by Exam (CBE) - no prior instruction
Given in the summer as well as during the school year
$25 refundable deposit
Must score 80% or higher to receive credit
Credit Recovery Exam - with prior instruction
Failing grade must have been between 60-69 to qualify
$25 non-refundable fee (maximum of $100)
Must score 70% or higher to recover credit

4 Year Plans
• Students met individually with their Counselor as 9th graders and completed a
4 Year plan.
• Counselors will review students plans and check that the students current
course choices are on on track to complete graduation requirements.
Students wishing to change their endorsement MUST inform their counselor
and schedule a meeting to make the necessary changes.
• These plans will be reviewed each year that the student is in high school.
