The rest of Spanish numbers are formed
with the tens...
30 treinta
60 sesenta
40 cuarenta
50 cincuenta
70 setenta
80 ochenta
90 noventa


... followed by the preposition "y" and
the number in Spanish
For example:
45 = Cuarenta (the tens) y
(preposition) cinco (the unit), which
results in:
Cuarenta y cinco

In Spanish, number 100 is
Cien

And, when you want to have numbers formed
with 100, you have to say "ciento" (cientos in
plural) and the number. For example. If you want
to say 114, you will need to say:
ciento(100) + catorce (14). That is:
ciento catorce
Hundreds
200 doscientos
300 trescientos
400 cuatrocientos
500 quinientos
600 seiscientos
700 setecientos
800 ochocientos
900 novecientos
1000 mil
Note that the
hundreds 2001000 are written
in one word (800:
ochocientos)
1,000 +
1,000 mil
Once past 1,000 you only have to state the number
that is in the thousandths place and state
thousand they should only be separated by a
space
Ex: 2,000 dos mil
1,000,000 millón
2,000,000 dos millones
*notice that when one million goes to two million or
more million becomes plural and drops it’s accent
