Presidential Responsibilities
 Must have been on OC for 1 year
 Lead Officer Core and Team
 Lead OC and Team meetings
 Take responsibility for all actions
of OC and Team
 Advance goals for the team
established at the beginning of
the year
 Head up all matters concerning
safety for the team
Vice Presidential Responsibilities
 Assist President in overseeing Team
events
 Responsible for Team Registration
 Organize team travel (carpools,
etc.)
 Promote and facilitate Team
Loaner Bike Program
 Oversee Sponsorship and Apparel
Coordinators
 In charge of the shed (our team
storage unit)
Sexetarial Responsibilities
 Keeping and maintaining minutes at all
Team and OC meetings
 Liaison between the Team and CP
Student Life and Leadership, WCCTC,
Sports Club Council, USAT, other school
teams, and Cal Poly organizations
 Coordinate the Team’s participation in
Collegiate Nationals***
 Sexetary=Nationals Coordinator
 Keep team updated about Race
Schedule and events

Treasurer Responsibilities
 In charge of all official
accounting/banking records
regarding the monies of the Team
 Responsible for creating an annual
Team budget in addition to budgets
for Team events
 Assist other Officers with the tracking
of all monies related to other Officer
positions
 Oversee the Heart and Soles and
March Triathlon Series Race Directors

PR Coordinator Responsibilities
 Liaison between the Team, Team
Alumni, and Team Parents
 Plan Alumni Dinner and Parent’s
Night
 Submit press releases to the School’s
PR department, Team parents, and
Team alumni
 Maintain the Team’s online
presence (social media)
 Update Team history including
photos, race results, and other large
events
 Oversee Event Coordinator and
Webmaster
Student Head Coach Responsibilities
 Must have been a Student Coach
for at least one year
 Attend at least one regularly
schedule workout per sport per
week during the regular training
season
 Organize weekly coaches meetings
 Make sure Team practices abide by
official School policies

MTS Race Director Responsibilities
 Be responsible for the successful
planning and production of MTS
 Develop a quality race to raise
money for the team
 Recruit and lead committees to
assist in the planning and
production of MTS
Heart and Soles Race Director
Responsibilities
 Responsible for the successful
planning and production of H&S
 Develop a quality race to raise
money for the team
 Recruit and lead committees to
assist them in the planning and
production of H&S
Sponsorship Coordinator
Responsibilities
 Secure Team sponsorships for
equipment, apparel, etc.
 Maintain a positive and active
relationship with all current team
sponsors
 Head up all team orders through
sponsors: bike order, wetsuit order,
Fluid orders, etc.
Apparel Coordinator Responsibilities
 Design, order, distribute, and
collect all monies for all Team
apparel and uniforms
 Assist the Treasurer in keeping track
of all Apparel-related profits and
expenses
 Keep an updated inventory of all
Team apparel
Event Coordinator Responsibilities
 Plan and produce Team social and
community events
 Develop the annual volunteering
requirements for Team Members
and keep track of all Team member
volunteer participation
 Maintain an updated even
calendar and volunteer credit
spreadsheet on the Team website
Webmaster Responsibilities
 Monitor and maintain the Team’s
digital footprint (website, email
aliases, web hosting & domains,
social media accounts, and
other)
 Make sure that posted info on
Team website is correct and is
presented in a user-friendly
manner
 Create new Team email aliases as
needed
 Provide assistance, as needed, in
maintaining the event websites for
H&S and MTS
Sport Head Coaches
 Each individual Sport will have a head coach that is in charge
of all activities related to their sport
 Bike Head Coach*** promotes and facilitate the Team trainer
program
