TROOPS OUT NOW! By Gabriel and Ian Newspaper Article BRAD PITT SUPPORTS TROOPS OUT NOW CAMPAIGN AT MASSIVE RALLY • Today at the rally in Hyde park Brad Pitt made an appearance along with other celebrities, MPs and musicians and gave a speech. • Brad Pitt's speech got the crowd really motivated, because he seemed so passionate about the war and the issues, it was also nice to see his wife (Angelina Jolie) and his 6 kids. They like some of the other families were having a picnic. • At least a 100,000 people turned up and they looked very positive and confident about the success of the protest. Surprisingly the weather was good and some families even brought a picnic with them. There was also a large police presence just in case the protest got out of hand, but it went smoothly enough. • There have been more rallies planned in the future and the protest continues. Speech against the war in Afghanistan • We believe that the war in Afghanistan has failed. That it is not possible to win. And if we don't stop then we will be faced with the fact that we will be stuck in the loop of believing we can win it and more lives will be lost. • We are a full decade into this war and it still hasn't been resolved. Also it's gotten bigger, and expanded into the tribal areas of Pakistan. The problem with this is that we set out to defeat our enemies but have just made more. Print Ad explanation • I think that the reason this print ad will work is because the faces of the soldiers in the picture make it very powerful and emotional engaging as well as the fact that the colour of the text makes you think of blood and the way that the soldiers died. I also think the way it says that the soldiers died needlessly is powerful because it makes you feel sad and sympathetic towards their families.
