Persuasive Speech Overview & Purpose Persuasion is 90% of the law, not possession. On a daily basis, you are being persuaded from all angles – to buy this, to do that, to believe this, and to act that way. Persuasion is a key to you getting a raise in your allowance, getting a raise at job, or even getting a job at all.
