Conference Attendance
• As of 9/30/11, registration numbers, excluding exhibitors, were
tracking over 45% ahead of the same time in 2010.
• From the time tracking began at 12 weeks out from the
conference (we are currently at 4 weeks out), numbers have
been anywhere from 15% to almost 50% higher week over
week.
• Typically about 30 – 50% of attendance numbers are seen by
onsite registrations for the conference.

Freight / Material Handling
• Exhibitors may carry in small packages including pop-up booths
provided they can be hand-carried by one person in one trip per
booth. Exhibitors are not permitted to pick up their freight from
any carrier at the loading dock.
• Refer to the exhibitor service manual for additional information
on material handling for the conference.

Chicago Area Union Jurisdictions
• Exhibitors may set-up and dismantle pop-up displays in booths
of 10'x10' or less, as long as it can be set up by one person in
1/2 hour or less, without the use of tools. Pop-up displays larger
than 10 feet will require union labor.
• Refer to the exhibitor service manual for additional information
about the six major unions that have jurisdiction over
tradeshows and guidelines to help you in preparing your exhibit
to conform to union jurisdiction and help save money.
