Head of College Scholars List Scheme
Application form for Summer Studentship 2016
This form is for use by undergraduate students in second and third year of the
College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences who are members of the Head of
College Scholars List scheme. Dental, Medical, Nursing, Veterinary Medical,
Veterinary Science and Life Science students in the scheme can apply.
The studentships can provide up to £1000 for supporting a student to undertake
a research project during the summer vacation. Studentships are expected to be
for a minimum of 4 weeks duration. The funding can be used to help to pay living
expenses for the student and consumables funding for the laboratory or
academic unit where the research project will take place.
Studentships are not available for completion of student projects that are part of
the normal degree course or for projects completed outside the University of
Glasgow. Only one application is permitted per student.
