Participation
Points are awarded for participation in the clubs or societies when a member attends at least 50% of the club/society
meetings or events. They are also awarded points in this category when they participate in the NAPFA test. However as
all students are automatically members of their respective Academic Society, no CCA points will be awarded to them
unless they are involved in the society’s activities.
More detailed examples are shown in Table 2 below:

Leadership
Leadership points are awarded for leadership roles such as Chairman or management committee of a club or society or
the union, Class Representatives, Class Treasurers, Tutorial Representatives, Section leaders and Conductors of
performing groups and leadership roles in uniform groups.
To attain the maximum points allocated in this category, the students’ involvement in organizing activities must be
sustained over a period of time like a semester. An example is the organizing of public performances by Cultural & Arts
Group. This activity typically requires planning and follow-up over the course of a semester or more. Organising of minor
activities that do not require as much planning and resources should be awarded a maximum of 3 CCA points. An
example is the organizing of a welcome party in NP for new members to a CCA club.
Examples of this category are illustrated in the following Table 6.
