China Aerospace Propulsion Technology Summit 2015 - Focusing on Upcoming Aero-engine Projects in China May27th–28th ,Changsha, 2015 Industry Insights In the next 20 years, China will boast 10,000 aircraft engines demand so that the total value is up to about $98 billion. At the very time of the engine industry restructuring, China has approved aero engine to be the Major Science and Technology Program, which means there will be $300 billion government investment in aero engine industry in the next two decades. ACAE is devoted to Commercial Turbofan Engine Development.CJ-1000A is now in the process for the first round of verification. The Sino-Russia wide-body aircraft engine has been announced for international bidding. ACAE may establish a joint-venture with overseas companies to bid for the project, which may be named as CJ-2000. Russia and China are making effort to jointly develop a new advanced heavy helicopter for operations in plateau area in China which will need a new generation technology engine. The main parameters of this project have been agreed on and the details will coming up soon. Its payload capability is up to 30-40 tons. The engine with new technology may be upgraded based on Mi-26. AVIC and Safran Jointly Develop New Generation of Civil Turboprop Engine. The project, becoming the milestone in China turboprop engine industry development, is carried out by Snecma and AVIC South Aviation Industry Co., Ltd., which is the co-organizer for CAPTS2015. The cooperation focuses on key parts of engine such as combustion chamber and turbine and others, both sides will work together to develop products and to establish new management mode. Based on these backgrounds, CAPTS2015will take place during May27th- 28th, 2015.The industrial leaders, from OEMs to AVIC and its subsidiary companies will gather together to discuss the Aero-engine projects taking place in China, airworthiness certification, future technology development trends.
