Based on the possibility of adding an additional ½ hr to Show What You Know and customer feedback to end earlier, it was decided to shorten lunch to ½ hr and serve box lunches. To cut costs handouts will be made available electronically and packets will not be prepared/shipped . Note TG will research #s of those who showed without registering to determine minimum # of handouts each presenter may want to provide onsite; To cut costs evaluations will be done electronically using UTSA survey tool. April will take responsibility for administration and dissemination of survey to customers, dissemination of results to TG and THECB; TG to provide TG questions; TG will be responsible for the electronic invitation and registration/participant tracking. Marketing - all emails and marketing will free training and reference online access to handouts; Fall marketing (targeted prior to Oct 5/TASFAA) will provide details for 2 DEC trainings and available info on 3 Spring trainings; Spring marketing (targeted for Dec) will provide details about 3 FEB/1 MAR trainings; 1 Action Items: Vickie to meet with PRAF to discuss the Show What You Know before the initial planning meeting in September..notes from TG 7/13 meeting: TG/PRAF team very supportive of idea, SWYK tool Is best used for topics that are “refresher” rather than when presenting “new info” and the format is conducive to their Policy topic which during timeframe of these regionals will not be about “new” regs but rather “refresher” material; TG has 60 clickers; answers are tallied “anonymously” by clicker #; TG typically presents certificates to 3 high scorers; questions in T/F or Multiple Choice format but TG will need to input all questions for TG, TASFAA & THECB and use our laptop for the game, due to software licensing restrictions; two “games” can be set if we want 2 parts to the session; using the SWYK format, TG recommends that TASFAA & THECB sessions preceed SWYK session so that questions can be asked about those and TG topics; Vickie/Sheila met with Sam Armstrong/TG to discuss COMM requirements for regionals on 7/13/11).
