Student Community Work-Study Application Information
We congratulate you for making the decision to apply for the 2014 Community
Work-Study Program! It is very important that you complete your application
in its entirety, and understand the requirements needed to participate in this
program.
Please review the program and application information below before
submitting your application.

Work-Study job would begin September 16 through May 31, 2016
(with the option to continue depending on summer enrollment)
Applications will be accepted beginning July 31, 2015 and will remain open until positions have been
filled.
Students interested in applying must:
 Be willing to work with the organization on a project or set of tasks during both the Fall and Spring
semesters
 Have completed mandated training through Financial Aid (visit Financial Aid webpage)
 Be a full-time student taking a minimum of 12credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
 Have a great work ethic, professional attitude, and willingness to learn
 Participate in a 3-hour orientation at the beginning of the project period
 Participate in required meetings/trainings (1-2 per semester) with the Center for Civic Engagement
 Participate in an end-of-year celebration where students and organizations showcase their collaborative
work

 Once you have submitted your application through Job Mine, you must complete a Student Work-Study
Employment Application (below) and submit the following documents to the CCE Office located in
Benedict Hall 101
 Professional Resume – Include your current resume of any
achievements, awards, and education. Be sure to list any
