Faculty Questionnaire (Home Tab)
Task 1:
Login to My.UTEP.edu portal, and then navigate through the page by clicking on the
various links. While you are navigating through the links, click on at least ten (10) links
and try to remember your impressions. Once you have completed navigating through the
links, please answer the following questions:
1. Describe your initial impression of the My.UTEP.edu portal site.
2. Describe your initial impression of the over-all look of the pages (color scheme,
graphics, font and layout).
3. Did you find it easy to locate information that you were looking for?
4. Would you consider attending UTEP if you have My.UTEP.edu to use?
Task 2:
Navigate to the Faculty/Staff links:
1. Go to Academic Calendars
(a) Are the links listed helpful to you?
- If yes, please list those that are.
- If not, please list the links that would be more helpful to you.
2. Go back to the Faculty Home tab and look through the available links.
(a) Please list which information on this page is the most important or useful
to you.
(b) Please list which information on this page is the least important or useful
to you.
Task 3:
Navigate back to the Faculty Home tab:
1. Are there links on this page which is helpful in your day-to-day processes?
(a) If so, please list which links they are.
(b) Please list the ones that you would like to see if they are not part of the
page.
