PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Hale Center Theater Orem to Produce, “Les Misérables” Feb. 19 – April 25 Orem, UT – Spanning several years of his lifetime, Les Misérables tells the story of Jean Valjean, a runaway convict seeking redemption after serving 19 years in prison for stealing a loaf of bread. His journey to freedom collides and converges with the lives of the worst and the best of humanity. Based on Victor Hugo’s epic 19th century novel. David Morgan directs with Justin Bills as music director and Jenny Barlow as choreographer. The design team includes Bobby Swenson (scenic design), MaryAnn Hill (costumes design) Janna Larsen (hair & make-up design), Cody Swenson (lighting design) and Cody Hale (sound design). HCTO’s production will introduce a new projection system as well as other new technical elements not previously seen at HCTO. Tickets range in price from $17 - $23 each ($6 or $4 less for children).
