Reading: Chapters 1-5 Textbook
The difference between 1105 final and 1106 final will be in the expectation for complex math
and showing your work. In the 1105 final, expect the questions to be about understanding the
concepts rather than elaborate calculations. Questions will be tailored to produce evidence that
you have read and understood the materials discussed in class, the concept questions from
homework and reading. There will be 50 multiple choice questions altogether, and at least 1
question from each of the invited lectures.

Example questions for EE 1105 exam:

In the 1106 final, expect the questions to be related to the lab, concepts, as well as the
mathematical mechanics of solving problems. Example problems will include: 1-2 loops KVL
KCL circuit analysis, equivalent resistive circuits, op-Amps, and at least 1 question related to
MSP-430. All circuit examples in the 1105/1106 lecture notes should be well understood, and
some homework problems might help.
