EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Have acted in commercials for Range Rover, Pro Golf Discount, Golf Headquarters
2011 to present: Product Demonstrator/Actor US Jesco. Jesco is one of the largest in-store demonstrator
companies in the U.S. They have a list of household products and gifts that are sold exclusively through retail
outlets such as Sears, K-Mart, and Kroger. I have a 5 state territory presenting our products on stage in their
outlets. I have been very successful with my presentations and am one of the top salesmen in the company. I
connect with people, have a good sense of humor, and a strong voice and presence.
2007-2011: I entered the insurance field, with a concentration on life, health and financial products. I
trained with New York Life Co. which stressed training, presentation and delivery. Worked closely with clients,
uncovering their needs and developing a successful strategy for their goals.
2006-2007: Assistant store manager for Colorado Ski and Golf; A Gart Property
1985-2005: I opened six Pro Golf Discount retail stores. I was solely responsible for hiring, firing, training,
setting sales objectives, marketing and advertising, buying, managing inventory, developing software, pricing,
selling, and working with our customers. During the course of operations, I developed an advertising
campaign that enlisted co-op monies and materials from the ten largest golf manufacturers including Nike,
Callaway, and Titleist. We were on television five times a day, 365 days a year. We also ran weekly radio and
newspaper campaigns. I starred in many of our television spots and performed all of our radio commercials.
In 2005, due to a softening golf market, a slow Denver economy, increased competition from the big box
stores and the internet, I sold most of my locations and closed my superstore at Park Meadows Mall.
1980-1985: Sales representative for Etonic Golf Shoes and Cobra Golf companies. My territory included 5
mountain states. I called on golf pros, golf retailers, and sporting goods stores. I doubled our distribution.
Worked closely with retail stores, conducting training seminars for their personnel, and helped them with
their marketing and purchasing objectives.
1975-1980: New England Sales manager, Rapistan MFG Corp. Grand Rapids, Mi., large manufacturer of
material handling systems. (Conveyor equipment, caster and wheels, hand trucks, and industrial grating) I
worked closely with engineers of OEMs who designed anything from computer cabinets to lobster carts. I also
developed a series of 100 industrial suppliers throughout New England, who in turn sold my products to local
businesses. I worked closely with their sales staffs, conducted training sessions and presided over sales
presentations to their customers. I increased my territory sales by thirty per cent.
College Years: Bartender and waiter at E. Lansing steak house to supplement my tuition and living
expenses.
FAMILY: Married to Annie for 25 wonderful years. I have three great children, all grown and prospering.
HEALTH: Excellent
HOBBIES: Golf, travel, church, reading, charity and family activities
